Last week Maggot House held a benefit show for Calcutta House. I'll use the description that Mark put on the event page: Located at 16th and Girard, Calcutta House is a clinic that provides housing, daily medical care, and social services to homeless (or soon to be homeless) men and women suffering from AIDS. It is the only service of its kind in our state, and relies heavily on donations. Learn more about Calcutta House here. The best part of this show is that our house didn't get fucked like last time.
Chet's second release show at the Vintage Theatre in Scranton, PA. The Vintage Theatre has an awesome sound system by the way. Leaving Philly and spending the night in Scranton was great, the show and the afterparty. And sleeping on the floor at Chet's parent's house. Apparently the blanket I had was mink.
If your unfamiliar with Chet's project, check it out here. Opening for Chet was Roof Doctor, Bobby Davis, and A Fire With Friends. I only have pictures of Chet and Roof Doctor. I'm not sure why.
So my friend Chet Williams is releasing a CD very soon, and we are all very excited for it. He played two release shows, one in Philly at PhilaMoca and another Scranton at the Vintage Theatre. These are the photos from the first show on February 25th at PhilaMoca. Read more about Chet's project here.
